Dam the pantano

So in Spanish, pantano has the same meaning as big balsa. Translated to English this comes across as reservoir. And we are building one. A huge one. It is supposed to contain up to 7.500.000 liters of water when it is done. We have contracted the works to an engineering company from Cordoba, and they are using a construction company from Almeria who also uses a local company from Villa del Rio. The works seem to be coming along quite nicely. The most recent development is paving the overflow junction. Father and I drove down to have a look earlier today and everything looked really good. There is some water in the bottom already. We take this as a good omen.
